<p>The NBA Playoffs are upon us and the Clippers are holding it down for LA. What kind of agency would we be if we didn&#8217;t send our team into basketball war with a Playoff pack filled with goodies?</p>
<p>Take a look at all of our in-arena work as our master plan of turning Staples Center red finally kicked into action. In addition to a complete arena refresh, we also created a splash page to drive Playoff ticket sales.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are many ways that branding and advertising have changed over the last few years. The biggest change to impact the industry is none other than social media! Between the Facebook&#8217;ing, Tweeting, Pinning and Linkedin&#8217;ing there is no place a brand can go without hearing an opinion about their work (the good &amp; the bad.) Dove, a Unilever brand, learned this when they recently released a new ad campaign targeted to make women feel better about their personal image by having a sketch artist draw them as they describe themselves. Many saw this as a beautiful campaign that empowered women, and others saw it differently. And that is the beauty and the breakdown of social media.</p>
<p>Our very talented writer, Jazz Brice, recently watched the &#8220;Real Beauty Sketches&#8221; by Dove. We will not try to sum up the complex and brilliant points that Jazz wrote about, and instead urge you to read them <a href="http://jazzylittledrops.tumblr.com/post/48118645174/why-doves-real-beauty-sketches-video-makes-me">HERE</a>.</p>
<p>Shortly after Jazz took to Tumblr, the shares, likes and love started pouring in. Over 200,000 views and counting! Her post,&#8221;Why Dove&#8217;s &#8220;Real Beauty Sketches&#8221; Video Makes Me Uncomfortable&#8230;and Kind of Angry&#8221; is a true sign that brands are playing in a social world where anything goes. Opinions are opinions, but they have so much more power when banned together through the social masses. A brand might have a bigger reach, but is that always a good thing?</p>
<p>As much as social media loves to blame the brand, it can be said that maybe they have a ton of research to back their entire strategy. Perhaps, they hit their exact target. Perhaps, the videos were not intended for some people to see. Perhaps, we will never know the real story. Brands are always going to have a tough time pleasing everyone, unless that was written in the creative brief. <p>HEILBrice teamed up with the LA Clippers to make sure as many people as possible will be able to see Deandre Jordan and Blake Griffin dunk and destroy other peoples NBA careers live in person (Video Below). So we crafted a comprehensive and targeted campaign with an All-Star flair to drive sales and raise awareness of the remaining affordable level seats in Staples Center.</p>

<p>Our campaign, along with the exciting spectacle that the Clippers put on, increased ticket sales and reinforced the well known understanding that the Clippers always were, and will always be All-Stars. But they also needed something that would be easy to update. We created an all inclusive solution that would accomplish all of their goals while maintaining the signature Cirque du Soleil style. We created an app.</p>

<p>The app, which will be available only to its travel and media partners is the next iteration of the &#8220;Destination Imagination Sales Training Manual.&#8221; Cirque du Soleil&#8217;s iPad app features video clips from each of its resident shows within the US and brings to life the stunning performances all in the palm of your hand (or that snazzy new iPad stand you got during the holiday&#8217;s.) 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our client, The Great Atlantic &amp; Pacific Tea Company, wanted to start the year off with a brand new campaign to target their health conscious consumers and inform them of all the new &amp; much needed resources available at their local grocery stores after the carb filled holiday season!</p>
<p>Thus, the &#8220;Live Better Challenge&#8221; was born!</p>
<p>Our comprehensive campaign included a TV spot as well as various digital components to spread awareness of all the tools and resources available to consumers motivated to start 2013 with a fresh way of thinking! In order to activate the large customer base of The Food Emporium, Waldbaum&#8217;s, Pathmark, A&amp;P &amp; Superfresh, we proposed a challenge to them:</p>

<p>Two Words: Social Media.</p>
<p>We teamed up with our new client, Jana Water (pronounced Yah-Na), to create a campaign that would achieve all of their objectives and spread awareness of their product like free cocktails at an advertising mixer.</p>
<p><strong>The Mission</strong>: Introduce Jana Premium Artesian Water to a new audience and inform them on the importance of water content and where it comes from.</p>
<p>With our mission in mind, we created the &#8220;Become The Source&#8221; giveaway! Our giveaway prompted fans to enter for their chance to win free cases of Jana Water shipped directly to their door. We asked that entrants simply &#8220;Like&#8221;, Comment and Share the contest in addition to submitting their email.</p>
<p><strong>The Outcome</strong>: By using Shares &amp; Comments, we were able to quickly spread the awareness of Jana Water and its source; A 7,000 year old Artesian aquifer 2500 feet below earths surface in the picturesque mountains of Croatia! By spreading the word amongst friends of fans, we targeted a more important consumer base that is more likely to be interested in purchasing the product seeing as how they are connected to someone who already has interest!</p>

In addition to bringing home 17 consecutive wins for the city of Los Angeles, the Clippers have made it a priority to bring some holiday cheer as well. Team HB came prepared this holiday season with a brand new Clippers TV spot and an interactive landing page to ensure Lob City can spread the cheer no matter how far their fans may be (even in the North Pole.)</p>

<p>Our amazing team was able to capture real testimonials, produce, edit, traffic the spot to two major LA stations and secure on-air radio promotions within three days. Yep, we said three days.</p>
<p>Take a look at the TV spot below and you will see why Iris will go down as one of the greatest shows to ever hit the Dolby Theatre.</p>
